    « on: July 29, 2016, 02:56:55 pm »
My cat caught a bird in the house..I went to try and save him..but it was too late..he was struggling to run away and spraying blood from his head and mouth

    I am sad  :'(

I wanted to kill it and put it out of its misery..but just let my cat finish him off

it finally died..my cat ran off with it somewhere. now I cant find the carcass

        Its cat nap time.

My childhood cat killed my pet bird when I was a kid, I put it back in the cage not realizing it had been fatally wounded.  Woke up for an early track meet the next day and the bird was head down in the cage in a pool of blood.

Same cat killed my pet mouse when my sister tried to introduce them.  The mouse's neck broke and it popped out of my hand and sprayed blood and had spasms until it was dead while the other pet mouse watched.

That cat also killed roaches which is rare.

When I was a kid at my grandparents' cottage, we found two baby rabbits and kept them in a cage. My grandmother's dachshund hopped in the cage and chewed them into nothing but broken bones and fur, which we discovered later. It was very upsetting.

The dog also killed the neighbor's full grown rabbit. I heard the attack from a distance. You'd never think a rabbit could screech so loudly.

I accidentally stepped on a pet rabbit as a child.  They do screech.

             It lived though.

I had a rabbit as a kid.  It was the third-shittiest pet I ever had.  It was hard to play with because it didn't give a fuck about me, it kept escaping from its little cage, and the motherfucker bit me.

Because I know you'll ask, the 2 pets that were shittier were:

              1) My fish
              2) My bird

Just this last Sunday, I bought my boys 2 hamsters. One was dead by Monday. My 7 year old lost track of it in his bedroom. The critter crawled inside a pillow case and suffocated. I got a refund and bought them another one.

was this "pillow case" by any chance a toilet paper tube?

talking about depressing, what happened to iep? did he quit the internet?

At least it wasn't killed by a vacuum cleaner like the older brother from the Wonder Years did to Kevin.

                      ewww

and be glad you found it.

No kidding. What if it wasn't found but was dead and rotting inside that pillow case for a week and my son was sleeping on that pillow. Ewwwww....
