I really enjoy giving gifts. I find it fun, but we had to cut back this year too. Although we did buy my eldest an electric Razor motorcycle and youngest a go kart, but the gifts will be half Christmas/half birthday, as their birthdays are in Jan and Feb and each ride-on cost $350.00 (on an Amazon Prime Credit Card).

I, also, wanted a metal detector as a kid. The idea of finding coins or buried treasure seemed cool.

Im just bustin your chops, I wanted a metal detector too when I was a kid, but we were too poor, so I had to tie a stick to magnetic speakers, and let it pick up metal.

I did have a pretty cool rainbow colored turban tho

Nikki I am not as broke right now, although my husband's business still hasn't taken off.

Yes I got married to a handsome 6'-5" half spanish half swedish very intelligent lawyer with a huge heart.  Needless to say he wins almost any argument we have.

He's a man so in general he is more logical than I am.  More rational.  Less emotional.

But he has learned how to argue from arguing cases in court.  And he comes up with some creative shit.

I get him back with "if I always do this (behavior), then when was the last time?"  He can't remember.

We were recently bickering at a Rite Aide (pharmacy/store) because he said
                    1. I like Cadberry eggs.    I said it as a joke, but I secretly used to love them, havent had one in year.
                    2. He said I leave the kitchen sponge in a puddle instead of letting it dry.  Maybe happened once.   Very important to him though.
                    3.  he says I hate his family because they're sober and boring.   Somewhat true but if they were drunk and crazy it would be worse.

                      That is not true.

As an attorney, they like to argue with logic..but this wont work on a woman.

A woman can totally derail even the most perfectly constructed logical argument, by simply saying, "you dont understand how I feel"

Get yourself one of those sponge caddy's.

Im in no way a clean freak at all. But im pretty adamant about a clean sponge. I get a new one every week, and spray bleach on it before doing dishes. The sponge holds lots of bacteria, mold, and god knows what

Was it the Cadberry eggs that got you?   Damn those things used to be good.  I haven't had one since they changed the recipe.

The one thing I have on Adam is that I am usually right about things.  If I say something will suck, it sucks.  If I say "go that way- it will be faster, I'm right."

And I am more intuitive.  But I also take work too personally and let it get to me if someone is rude to me at work.  He constantly has to remind me that its just business and not a reflection on me.

I once sat on a cadbury egg until it hatched into a chocolate bunny

Its hard not to take some things personally and rationalize it..but we do what we do

Silver I would never disqualify his reasoning by saying "You don't know how I feel."

That is insulting.  He may not understand how I feel, but it's no excuse for my behavior.  I still have to have accountability.  I'm not 6 years old.
